Washington Park/Marino Pines Neighborhood

Pacific Grove’s Washington Park neighborhood has the largest park in all of Pacific Grove named…You guessed it, George Washington Park. It marks the western boarder of the neighborhood and is another reason this neighborhood is so desirable. The majority of this park is left natural with only a couple of trails cut through it, making it a real glimpse back into time at what a true Monterey pine forest must have looked like before Pacific grove was populated. The park cuts a 6 block swath from Sinex to Short Street, with Pine cutting through the middle. The southern tip of Washington Park has a little league field, picnic tables, BBQ pits, restrooms and a playground for the little ones.

Many families who have purchased homes to take advantage of Pacific Grove’s schools like the Washington Park area as it is close to Pacific Grove High School, PG Middle School and Forest Grove Elementary School. You are only a few minutes from downtown Pacific Grove where there is a small super market, several incredible bakeries, some of the best restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula, a farmers market on Monday's, as well as any other service you can think of.  Read more about Pacific Grove’s Washington Park/Marino Pines Neighborhood
