Prunedale is located to the west of Hwy 156 between Castroville and Hwy 101 and on both sides of HWY 101 from G11 to the north and San Miguel Canyon to the south. Castroville Blvd. and the Moss Landing Slough make up its western border with San Juan Grade and Old Stage Coach Rd. making up the eastern border. Prunedale is known for its convenient location with easy access to the coastal cities or to inland cities like Hollister, Gilroy and Salinas. Parts of Prunedale even have views of Moss Landing and the Monterey Bay, making it that much more desirable.
Prundale, although very close to the Monterey Bay waterfront, is known for its beautiful weather as well as the beautiful scenery.
