The Old Del Monte neighborhood in Monterey CA consists of the homes that were built around or near the Old De Monte Golf Course. This area is one of the nicer areas in Monterey with homes in general being larger than average and sitting on lots that are above average in size. Although there are homes that sit directly on Old Del Monte Golf Course, they really do not come on the market for sale that often and when they do they typically start over $1,000,000 and can go up significantly from there.
Homes in general are an eclectic mixture, like most of Monterey and the Monterey peninsula cities with big beautiful luxury homes built right next to older homes in need of remodeling. Manor Road, Jacks Road and Deer Flat Road have some very large estate homes as does Castro Road, especially along the Old Del Monte Golf Course side of the street.
The Littlefield area is a very nice development offering home owners privacy and the feeling of being in a safe community where everyone seems to know everyone else.
The Old Del Monte neighborhood runs from Mark Thomas Drive to the west, Josselyn Canyon Road to the north, Aquajito Road as its southern boundary and Monhollan Road as its boundary to the East.
